Description
Without
doubt Hanoi's most famous hotel, the Sofitel
Metropole has been lovingly restored to
capture a sense of the hotel's original
1920s colonial ambience.
The hotel has two wings. The old wing
features polished floors and the original
staircase and other original features. In
the new wing, the original atmosphere has
been carefully recreated. There's a buffet
breakfast that must be Vietnam's most
sumptuous, cold beer and roast dinners at
the Met Pub, or fine French cuisine at Le
Beaulieu. Another option is the Spices
Garden for a taste of Hanoi specialties,
including a 'Hanoi street foods' lunch
buffet. You can also get more seriously
into Vietnamese cuisine by participating in
the hotel's cooking classes. Central Hanoi
is at your doorstep, with beautiful Hoan
Kiem Lake a few minutes walk and shopping
and eating opportunities at every turn.

Hotel Sofitel Metropole is for travellers

experience during their time in Hanoi. The
